Touch is shortlisted for the 2011 Governor General’s Literary Award, Canada’s oldest literary prize

Touch was longlisted for the 2011 Scotiabank Giller Prize

Le Monde says: “Ce premier roman d'Alexi Zentner est d'une effrayante beauté.”

Touch is shortlisted for The Center for Fiction’s 2011 Flahery-Dunnan First Novel Prize.

The CBC named Alexi as one of “12 Canadian Writers to Watch,” and called Touch, “a haunting multi-generational story with mythical overtones, reminiscent of the work of Canadian literary great Joseph Boyden.”

PEOPLE Magazine calls Touch a “breathtaking debut.”

Mclean’s Magazine compares Alexi to a Greek god and says “there isn’t a weak sentence in the book.”

The National Post profiles Alexi and says Touch is “an arresting debut novel that will likely be in contention for some major prizes.”
